Took around 3 hours? One of a few paintings that I’m doing for an art displaying in a coffee shop that’s a few miles out.

I’ll be uploading the other videos from last night to my pole blog (jenova-amaranth) but I wanted to show you guys this one specially because I want you all to see that you don’t have to be a skinny-mini with bulging ab muscles to be strong, fit and graceful. The strength and the stamina it takes to do pole dancing is phenomenal, and to do it so gracefully is another thing entirely.

This is Emma, the woman who set up last night’s competition. And as you can see, she’s a fantastic performer.

Reblogging this for whoever asked me ages ago about whether pole is just for skinny people. In fact I would say it takes a hell of a lot more strength and talent for larger people because you have more weight to lift, which just makes this even more badass.
